Our 2023 Show Opens Nov 24th!
We do not provide wheelchairs. There are paved walkways throughout the park with benches in various locations. Both restroom facilities are ADA accessible. Two small paved parking lots located on Old County Rd have ADA accessible but can be crowded. The larger parking lot located on North Bank Rd offers the best ADA parking.
Those with special needs should contact us via email for arrangements, ie.) large groups or transit van access.Signs are displayed on Hwy 101 showing the way to the large parking lot.
Extreme weather is always an issue on the coast during December. Storms can impact our opening for a night or force us to close early. We follow weather.com for the Brookings Harbor area (zip code 97415). We post on our Facebook page by 3pm if we know the weather will not permit an opening. If the weather turns for the worse after we open, we will close early and again post on Facebook. We suggest you plan your visits accordingly.
Santa and Mrs. Claus visit each year. Check our home page or Facebook for more information. Please bring your own cameras for photos. Please follow Facebook for up to the minute information.
Hot Cocoa, Hot Cider and cookies are available at the Snack Shack. Donations are always appreciated. Our entry fee is $3.00 for adults and kids under 12 are free! Children under 16 must be with an adult.
There is always a variety of holiday music played at the light show. Many songs are synced with our Mega Tree Lights show.
We hold the event in a public park where dogs are allowed on leash. However, with the darkness, busy pathways and unfamiliar surroundings things can happen. Leashes wrapped around legs, a cookie snatched from a small child's hand or aggressive barking are all possible. We love dogs but are always concerned for them. We ask that caution be exercised and perhaps your pup would do better in the car or left at home. Nature's Coastal Holiday cannot be held accountable for what can happen.
For the comfort of our visitors, we do not permit outside solicitations of any kind inside the show or adjacent parking lots. Please do not ask us for an exception to this policy.
Solicitation is any form of requesting money, support or participation for products, groups, organizations, religious beliefs or causes.
These include but are not limited to:
Distribution refers to disseminating literature or material of any kind for commercial, religious or political purposes/beliefs.
Any person and/or organization found to be violating this policy may be expelled from the Festival of Lights without refund. Egregious and/or multiple violations of this policy may result in person or persons being legally trespassed by law enforcement.
This event is completely set up and staffed by volunteers. The community is asked to string lights the last Saturday of October and take them down the first Saturday in January. Local businesses and organizations staff the event each night. In addition, our sponsor's generous donations keep the lights burning bright! Please email us for more information about volunteering. Follow the link on the right top corner of this page for Sponsorship. Have a display or lights to donate? Please email us for information and review the guidelines below.
Interested in being a Board Member? We ask that you pledge to donate several hours of your time up to and including the dates of the show. Our Board is a working Board with everyone giving of their time and talents. Contact us at naturescoastalholidaybrookings@gmail.com
We do not loan or rent out any of our displays, materials or lights. This policy has no exceptions. Please, don't place us in the position of having to decline your request.
We offer a 30% discount for Care Homes and Church Groups of 10 of more, Monday-Thursday. You MUST MAKE A RESERVATION 24hrs in advance to receive the discount. Email us for a reservation and for more information.
