Weather Issues?

Brookings is known for a mild winter. Rain can dampen an evening so bring your raincoat. In extreme weather, we will cancel a night's show. Please follow our Facebook page or tune to KURY 95.3FM.

Where is Santa?

Santa and Mrs. Claus visit each year. Check our Event Section on our home page or Facebook for more information. Santa and Mrs. Claus are stationed in the Gazebo. Please bring your own cameras for photos.

How can I get involved?

This event is completely set up and staffed by volunteers. The community is asked to string lights the first Saturday of November and take them down the first Saturday in January. Local businesses and organizations staff the event each night. In addition, our sponsor's generous donations keep the lights burning bright!  Please email us for more information about volunteering, download the PDF below about staffing and follow the link on the right top corner of this page for Sponsorship. Have a display or lights to donate? Please email us for information and review the guidelines below.

There is always a variety of holiday music played at the light show. Carolers are also present during the season. We are always looking for holiday entertainers. If you or your group are interested in performing, please email us.

Food and drinks?

Hot Cocoa, Hot Cider and cookies are available at the Snack Shack. Donations are always appreciated.
