Nature's Coastal Holiday is always busy!

Santa Makes an Appearance

At Nature's Coastal Holiday, we believe that holidays are an opportunity to celebrate life, love, and family. We are happy to say Santa feels the same and makes an appearance in the annual Azalea Festival Parade on Memorial Day weekend.

Our Team

Our team is made up of holiday enthusiasts who are passionate about sharing their love of the holidays with the world. Cascade Home Center, South Coast Business Solutions and Alternative Youth Activities feel the same and came together to build Santa a new home in 2022.

Our Community

We strive to provide support to our community. The Brookings Harbor High School has been an important part of the Festival of Lights. In 2023, we presented the high school funds to decorate for their prom and Safe and Sober grad night.

Supporting Improvements

Santa and Mrs. Claus stopped by to help us present the City of Brookings with our $30,000 contribution toward the 2023 KidTown redo.

Business Connections

We believe that our tourism industry is a key player in our economy. The Curry County Chamber joins us in our opening night ribbon cutting.

Carrying On the Legacy

The Festival of Lights continues on thanks to the students at the Brookings-Harbor High School.

Additional Information

The City of Brookings and its unincorporated areas make up 39% of the population of Curry County, Oregon. Azalea Park is the largest of the community parks and hosts several events through out the year at little or no cost to those who attend. These events include summer concerts, movie nights, community picnics and the Festival of Lights. Access to the park was underdeveloped creating a lack of general parking and ADA accessibility for cars and public transit.

Nature’s Coastal Holiday and the City of Brookings came together to re-imagine entry to Azalea Park. The City of Brookings provided the project management and $280,000 in funds. Nature’s Coastal Holiday spear-heading community donations with a $50,000 pledge. Our pledged amount was delivered to the City of Brookings in April 2020 and the parking lot was completed in May 2020.

When is a parking lot more than just

a chunk of asphalt?

  • When it provides safe

   access to a public park

  • When ADA accessibility

   is limited and restrictive

  • When a grandmother

must miss a soccer game because there's no ADA parking

  • When a wheelchair

   bound veteran can’t find

   ADA parking
